Time Flies at Skylarks

Well here we are again…time for another monthly blog, where has the time gone. August was a fantastic month with lots of very beautiful weddings and equally beautiful brides, along with one or two celebrity guests.
As we move into September and autumn, the views from the barn are beginning to take on a new autumnal orangey hew. I love all the seasons, but autumn really is spectacular here.
Work on the glamping site continues and we seem to be on target for our early 2018 opening. It won’t be long before we start to think about taking bookings and we hope to develop an online booking system to make booking more user friendly.
I have to say I’m a little bit excited about the glamping site, as those that know me will already know I love shopping for lovely things to make our weddings that bit more special.
So I can’t wait to get involved with the decoration and interior décor of the pods, I have a few ideas which will make them the perfect wedding night accommodation for the newlyweds and their guests.
Coming up at Skylarks on 29th October is our Wedding Fayre and Open Day, where one of our suppliers has donated a one week holiday in Cyprus for our prize draw. If you haven’t registered to pop by the fayre and to be included in the prize draw then you can do it at this link….

We have some great wedding suppliers with everything from décor to vehicles, not forgetting make up and attire and everything in between, and for those that haven’t yet visited us, the opportunity to see Skylarks all set up for a wedding.
